有爱车的动手达人在买到某些品牌的刹车片后,发现摩擦材料表面有一层涂层,涂层宽度或宽或窄,方向或横或纵或斜,颜色更是五花八门。这是什么东东?没见过啊。


人类本能对未知的东西保持敬畏,于是此物在心中的地位自然升高几分。然而,达人显然不会满足于未知。今天,就由小布带大家来认识一下神秘的摩擦材料涂层。


想知道涂层是做什么用的,问谁?当然是发明者。打开美国专利商标局网站(www.uspto.gov),搜索coating & brake,一篇名为“一种应用于刹车系统摩擦材料上的摩擦表面涂层”的专利浮出水面。这就是今天我们要学习的专利了。

联合信号?听起来很陌生吧,不过提到它合并后的名字大家就知道了,那就是大名鼎鼎的霍尼韦尔。


BACKGROUNDOF THE INVENTION


For the tribological system disk brake, a desired coefficient of friction arisesbetween a disk brake  a brake lining only after a certain number of brakingactions. These braking actions, in which a new friction pairing which is notyet run-in possesses a coefficient of friction which greatly depends on therunning-in state, are also designated as running-in braking actions.


对于摩擦系统盘式制动器,制动片和制动衬片之间的摩擦系数只有经过一定数量的制动后,才会产生达到理想值。这种制动称作磨合制动,期间,新的摩擦对偶还未摩擦好,其摩擦系统主要取决于磨合状态。


For the coefficient of friction, geometrical adaptations between the brake liningand the brake disk  a tribological boundary layer constitution, generallydesignated as friction coal, are essential influence parameters. Only when theboundary layer  the geometry are sufficiently constituted by the running-inbraking actions, we come with the coefficient of friction of the system to theso-called steady condition. Thus, the friction pairing reaches a run-in stateand thus the desired coefficient of friction level only after a relatively highnumber of running-in braking actions.


制动衬片和制动盘之间的几何结构和摩擦边界层通常被称为摩擦碳,其是摩擦系数必不可少的影响参数。只有当边界层和几何结构被充分磨合,我们才得到所谓的稳定条件摩擦系数,摩擦对偶达到磨合好的状态。因此,期望的的摩擦系数只有经过一个相对多次的磨合才能达到。


Under certain automotive engineering operating conditions, there comes however toproblems due to the difference between the run-in system  the  run-insystem. For example truck trailers are brake tested after manufacturing.Referred to nine tons axle load extrapolated to 6,5 bar, the vehicle must reachat least 45% (50%) deceleration. The decelerations must also be dynamicallyreached when testing the brake system of the double train on the road by higherspeeds. Here it has been found as a problem that a new disk brake system in notrun-in state most of the time does  comply with the above mentionedrequirements.


在一定的汽车工程运行条件下,由于系统的磨合和未磨合的差异,产生了一些问题。例如卡车拖车是在制造后进行的制动试验。方法为使用九吨的轴载外推到6.5杆,车辆必须达到至少45%(50%)的减速。在路面使用更高速度测试双层列车的制动系统时,也必须达到减速要求。在这里发现了一个问题,一个新的盘式制动系统在未磨合的状态时,大部分的时候都不符合上述要求。


The aim of this invention is to make available an improvement of the tribologicalsystem brake, especially of a disk brake, which eliminates the above mentioneddisadvantages  also reaches sufficient coefficients of friction in notrun-in state.


本发明的目的是改善摩擦系统的制动,特别是盘式制动器,从而消除上述缺点,并在未磨合的状态下,达到足够的摩擦系数。


This aim is achieved by a friction surface coating of the above mentioned type andby a brake lining of the above mentioned type, wherein the friction surfacecoating contains 0 to 30% in weight phenolic resin, 5 to 95% in weight aluminumoxide, 0 to 20% in weight silicium oxide, 5 to 75% bonding agent, 0 to 10% in weightinterlacing agent, 0 to 50% in weight elastomer  0 to 50% in weight filler.


这个目标是通过摩擦表面涂层和衬片来实现的,其中的摩擦表面涂层含有0至30%重量的酚醛树脂,5~95%重量的铝氧化物,0至20%重量的硅氧化物,5至75%的粘接剂,0到10%重量的交错剂,0 50%重量的弹性体和0~50%重量的填料。


This has the advantage that a sufficient  reliable coefficient of friction isobtained in each test state of a brake installation, for example of a vehicle,even with a (disk) brake system which is  yet run-in. Moreover there is nodownfall of the coefficient of friction by the transition  the effect ofthe coating to the run-in state.


这具有的优点是,即使对于一个制动系统尚未磨合的车辆,制动片与制动盘间的摩擦系数基本上与磨合好的摩擦系数一致。此外,当由涂层切换到磨合好的状态时,摩擦系数没有衰减。
